Meet Our New Team Members!

In just one month we’ve filled three new positions and made a big office move!

The big move

In November we moved from Ripley to Derby’s Derwent Business Centre; a more central location with a much bigger, creative space. The team now work in a large main office as well as having the added benefits of a games room (complete with ping pong table), meeting room and greeting area.

The new Frogsparkles

We were very excited to introduce James, Josh and Paul to the team; two talented web developers and an expert in SEO and PPC.

Last year, we started offering digital marketing services, in particular SEO; a process which increases the visibility of a business online.

Because of the increasing demand for digital marketing, Frogspark introduced Paul to the team. Paul has a degree in English Literature and a master’s degree in Creative Writing.

He began his career at Marks Electrical where he ran SEO and PPC campaigns for their e-commerce site.

In his spare time, Paul also teaches music lessons and plays in a two-piece band.

Paul told us: “working at Frogspark has been great. Since day one I’ve been given the freedom to perform at my best and supported in developing my skills. The relaxed environment and personalities make it a pleasure to work here.”

Our new web developers

James and Josh, a front-end web developer and a full stack/php developer were brought in to increase Frogspark’s capacity for new projects and to bring fresh ideas to the company.

James is our new front-end developer. He has both agency and in-house experience which means he has developed skills in many areas. In his last role, he helped build and maintain the front end of an e-learning website.

Josh is our new full-stack developer. At just 20, his knowledge and skills in coding far exceed a lot of those who have been in the sector for a lot longer.

His previous job involved working on payment systems for schools. Josh studied Space Engineering at college where he gained an A level in physics and a BTEC in engineering.
