Formed in 2014, Baxter Freight is a highly successful and well recognised management team within the Freight industry. Baxter Freight wanted a website that not only bought them in increasing enquiry numbers, but provided them with a platform to accelerate their growth from.
With the design and development of Baxter Freight’s new website, it was key that the user journey was not only geared around customers, but also suppliers. The site needed to show why customers should work with them, and also appeal to suppliers and why they would want to work with Baxter Freight. Creating two seperate user journeys that was adapted to these needs at each key touch point was really important throughout the entirety of this project. Ultimately, the site had the core goal of driving enquiry numbers and we factored this into the design, development, site features and customer journey that we created throughout the site.
In terms of design of the site, it was important that consistently across pages, branding was correct, so that we could add a ‘personal touch’ to each and every element of the site. Doing this helps to not only enforce Baxter Freights brand values, but show their personality to potential customers and suppliers on the site. We really wanted to be clear and open with the presentation of their service offering, so that it was clear and widely accessible for their target market.
