The Cook and Him is a website dedicated to sharing and creating contemporary vegan and vegetarian recipes with like-minded individuals, or others looking for healthy sweet treats!
The Cook & Him initially approached us looking for digital marketing to help them grow their online presence further, and better drive those followers to their website. Upon our technical audit, and in-depth analysis on the user journey, we concluded the best cause of action was a design and develop a new website that was created in line with SEO guidelines and had a seamless user journey and experience. In doing so, we could provide a better experience for both users on the site, and them managing the content throughout the site in-house. Not only this, but the site is now perfectly geared towards the digital marketing campaigns running for them.
There are a few key design features on the site that stand out to the user upon reaching it, the first being the latest recipes which appear in the hero of the homepage. This is a highly visual and engaging feature which gives the users the latest content and shows to them exactly what the Cook and Him do.
A further bespoke feature to the site is the ‘find your perfect recipe’ tool. This allows the user to filter recipes on the website according to their dietary requirements, and whether they’re looking for breakfast or party ideas, or even something for their furry friend to enjoy! Overall, we wanted to create a highly visual design, that complimented the recipes perfectly and allowed them to be easily accessible for the user, across every device, at any time.
After our design and development efforts, both us, and the client couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The Cook and Him now have the perfect platform to share their sumptuous recipes with their following. Not only this, but we’ve now got a website to build on their online presence; having all the technical foundations in place to launch a full digital campaign.
"Thanks for all your hard work! It’s been a challenging site to get going with over 170 pages and 1000’s of images to migrate but your team have risen to our challenge!"
