Paracinema is the work of a small group of people dedicated to creating a film festival which previews films and genres outside of the mainstream. In their own words, “Anything goes!”; you can expect a mix of monsters, time travel, horror, resurrection, demonic possession and documentary style films. The project has been created by the Quad, and we were working on the project with the people over at Firecatcher – so we couldn’t wait to get stuck in with this one!
The main challenge with this project was to bring the amazing design that the people over at Firecatcher put together to life! We wanted to put everything we could into celebrating a whole other side of cinema, and we really wanted to match the Quad’s pure passion and excitement for the website.
Although we can’t take credit for the design work here, it doesn’t mean that we loved working with it any less! We don’t think that the final design could be any more perfect for the film festival, so working on the development side of things was amazing. Our job was to make the process of learning about the film festival, and the viewing and booking tickets process for website users as easy as possible. Something we’re proud to say that we achieved.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! We love it when we work collaboratively with other creatives in the industry to produce truly amazing results.
