The client

Wet Room Materials have been enhancing wet room design by being one of the first to introduce luxury Scandinavian products into the UK. They are a passionate team who have built close relationships with architects, designers, developers, contractors and showrooms.

Not only are they industry-leading providers of a fantastic range of wet room products but they also provide a highly qualified, Danish trained installation service making sure that they provide an effective and professional finish to every project.  As a company, they pride themselves on being an innovative company which has lead to them becoming the market leader in the distribution of wet room products and services.

The objective

Wet Room Materials wanted a website that was going to be able to showcase their array of high-quality products and their expert level installation process. This was completed by creating a site that was clean and had a slick finish, making it as easy as possible for the user to navigate. We had to understand how we could take what the company stood for and make it so that it was reflected in the website’s design and layout. It was key that we had a full understanding of what the company stands for so that we could portray this through the website’s design and layout. This is where we took Scandinavian influences to use a lot of space on the website to fill it with high-quality images and content to showcase their many products, services and projects. We wanted to make it so the user was able to experience the products without actually being at the showroom which was only achievable through the inclusion of the numerous large scale, high-quality images on the page.


The aim for the online products was to create a showcase that maintained the theme we received in the design of brief of it being clean and tidy. This caused an issue as we wanted it to be simplistic but also wanted to provide as much information about each product as possible. So we decided on using top-level images that would do a lot of the talking for us but to also use a dropdown feature which allowed the user to show/hide various bits of information. We didn’t just include one image we decided to put in a gallery feature which allows the user to flick through numerous high-quality photos of the products.

The result

We’ve created a site that not only looks good but also performs excellently. We used the brief from Wet Room Materials and built this site which perfectly reflects them as a business and what they stand for. We expect that with our continued digital marketing and web support going forward we will see a substantial increase in their sales and lead generation.
