Frogspark Event – Increasing Your Online Visibility

After much preparation and anticipation, Frogspark has hosted our first event with Marketing Derby on the 7th of September – and it’s safe to say we’re all feeling a little tired this morning! Our event took place at the Gaslight in Derby, and it was based around the simple ways you can increase your business visibility online, and how you can generate more leads. Even after weeks of putting everything together, Rob and Liam were well aware of their nerves yesterday morning, not really knowing what to expect. But after running around in the office in the morning, getting everything ready at the venue, and taking a final run through of the presentation with the team it was time for the event to start. In true Frogspark style, Rob and Liam wore their crazy floral shirts, had a beer in hand and even bought the ping pong table along to the event – really showing off our personality.

The event started off with a bit of networking, and we’re really pleased with the turnout of bondholders to the event, it’s great to see how much support we have in the local area. After a bit of networking, a glass of prosecco and maybe even a Frogspark themed cake, it was time for Rob and Liam to go through their presentation. Fiona Porter did a great introduction, speaking about her new initiative Team Coaching in organisations as well as welcoming all the bondholders to the event – then it was time for Rob and Liam to take to the stage!

Of course, the presentation began with Rob making sure to let people know to follow him on Twitter – we all know he loves a good tweet! Following on from that, the presentation went through five ways to increase your visibility online, looking at everything from Google analytics, to gaining backlinks and checking your local listings.
