Get To Know Our New Designer – Sarah

Last week was a great one for us at Frogspark; adding a new member to our team! Sarah has joined us as our new designer – here to make our website designs and full stack projects look sexy! Hiring Sarah was especially exciting as this was the first time we’d hired a dedicated designer for the team. But as both the quantity and size of projects we work on grow, we felt it was the perfect time to get a designer on deck.

Meet Sarah!

Sarah has always enjoyed being creative from a young age, making various crafty things as a child. This continued throughout school and university where she studied Graphic Design at Loughborough. Her first ‘proper adult job’ was at a company that built apps and websites, and has stayed in the digital industry since! Also learning front end development along the way.

We asked Sarah what stood out to her about Frogspark. Apart from our office dog Chip (of course), she said that Frogspark seemed like a really interesting agency to work for. She said we also come across as having quite a relaxed agency environment (in a good way!). More than anything, it was our portfolio of work and clients that won Sarah over. It’s also handy that we’re based only 10 minutes from her house!

So Sarah, How Have You Found Your First Week?

“The first project I’ve worked on has been really interesting, it was great to get stuck in right from the start. Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly, so overall I’ve had a really good first week. I’ve also decided I really want a Dachshund!”

5 Quick-fire Questions

1) If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be and what would you call it?

A dog, it doesn’t have to be a dachshund but one that likes cuddles! Probably call it some sort of human name like Stanley or Larry.

2) What’s your favourite TV series?

Tricky one! There are so many good ones to choose from! Although, I think I’ll be predictable and go with Game of Thrones!

3) Your go-to takeaway?

Indian. I love spice, so probably Jalfrezi is one of my go-to!

4) Your dream holiday destination?

An African safari has always been on my dream holiday list as I love seeing wildlife. Maybe somewhere like Tanzania or Zanzibar to see the wildlife then spend an afternoon relaxing on beautiful beaches!

5) What’s your biggest pet peeve?

General rudeness but particularly people who are rude to waiters. And also bad drivers!
