What Have Frogspark Been Up To In 2017?

With the end of the year approaching faster than ever (and that much anticipated Christmas break!), we thought it would be the right time to reflect on what team Frogspark have been up to over the course of the year. 2017 has definitely been an exciting year, full of new opportunities, so we’re happy to share everything we’ve achieved so far with you.

New Team Members

2017 has been a year of growth for us here at Frogspark; adding 6 new members to our Derby based team. From some of the best web developers around to our highly skilled digital marketing members, our team is what we’re most proud of. We all get on so well, and that genuine connection we all have is the key to what makes our team click. Needless to say, there probably have been a fair few ping pong related disagreements over the course of the year… But keep your eyes peeled, we’ll be on the lookout for new Frogsparkles to join the team next year!

New Clients & Projects

Along with our new team members have come new highly valued clients and exciting projects throughout the course of the year, and we’re happy to have them on board. The digital marketing side of the business has seen considerable growth this year, and we aim to accelerate this further in 2018. That’s not to forget some of the awesome websites we’ve put together for our clients, why not check out some of the work we’ve done this year? We are definitely not afraid of a bit of hard work here at Frogspark, and we love a challenge so we’re looking forward to seeing what projects the year ahead brings.

Nottingham Office

You may have heard about this (with it being ALL over our social media), but this year has seen us expand into Nottingham, which is something we had massive plans to do and we’re eager to see what opportunities this will bring. The new office is based Lace Market area of the city, so if you’re around you should definitely pop in for a chat. We do make the best coffee – even if we do say so ourselves.

Our First Events

The latter part of the year saw us host our very first events, and they were carried out in true Frogspark style – floral shirts, beer and a bit of ping pong with the team. Our first event was based all around increasing visibility online and generating more leads and for our first time, it was more successful than we could have hoped. So we decided to put ourselves through the whole stressful experience again, by hosting another event. This one was centred around growth in the digital age – something we know plenty about. Getting Involved With The Community

This year we endeavoured to take more of an active role within the community by supporting the Children’s Breakfast club in designing and developing a website, free of charge, to help accelerate the project’s growth further. The Children’s Breakfast club is a collaborative project with Derby City Council, working to provide school children with a free breakfast and the scheme aims to improve children’s behaviour, attendance and overall educational attainment whilst in school. We want to create a website that really highlights the importance of supporting children in the community and to encourage as many local businesses and schools to get involved as possible.

What Does 2018 Hold For Frogspark?

The last couple of years have been a little crazy, and we’ve achieved more than we could have hoped. But we plan to achieve even more in 2018 – Frogspark aren’t stopping anytime soon. We’ve got big plans to expand our team further, and get involved in even bigger and more exciting projects.
