It’s been another successful financial year for Derby based Digital Agency Frogspark. Posting a 37% revenue growth between October 2017 to October 2018; which makes it an impressive five years in a row of consecutive financial growth.
Managing Director Robert Twells said “This year’s growth is particularly pleasing for us as it has also seen us add 5 new members to our team. The Recruitment has enabled us to take the business to a new level and we feel this sets us up for an even stronger year in 2019.”
2018 has seen Frogspark work with clients based in all corners of the UK, which has resulted in a significant increase in enquiries from other major cities, but they are just as proud of the work they have been involved in closer to home.
Early 2018, Frogspark successfully won the contract to design and develop the new website for the Derby Cathedral Quarter. Co-Founder and Development Director Liam Nelson said “Being a Derby based company that isn’t based in the Cathedral Quarter, we felt privileged and very excited to be given the responsibility of designing and building what we hoped would be the perfect platform for businesses to be able to promote their events and offer; as well as showcasing to the public the many fantastic businesses that have so much to offer.”.
Ashley Lewis, Senior BID Project Manager for the Derby Cathedral Quarter at Partnerships for Better Business Ltd said “From start to finish it has been a pleasure working with the team at Frogspark. Whatever our requirements, they have proved to be professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of design and maintenance and have been extremely helpful throughout.”
This year saw Frogspark strengthen in another service they offer; Digital Marketing, by partnering with OfficeCare, the Pride Park-based commercial cleaning company.
Managing Director Martin Booth has enjoyed the first year working with the Digital Agency: “Office Care uses Frogspark for website maintenance and various Digital Marketing strategies. We would highly recommend them as a company to partner with. We have found Rob and his team achieve what they set out to do and they do this with honesty and integrity. We see our relationship with Frogspark continuing into 2019 and beyond.”
2018 has also seen Frogspark as a Finalist for SME Business of Year at the Derby Telegraph Business Awards. They have also continued their creative relationship with Nottingham based award winning Property Services Company SDL Group for the second year.
Frogspark have actively supported Charity and start up businesses for the past couple of years now; offering design, development and marketing support wherever possible. This year saw them produce a website for one third of Derby based Gogglebox family The Siddiqui’s.
Baasit Siddiqui, who founded Siddiqui Education to help motivate, educate and inspire disadvantaged children in classroom-based workshops across the UK, said “I couldn’t be happier with the level of service I’ve received from the Frogspark team. From the moment they contacted me to begin work on my education website, they were proactive, approachable and professional.”
The New Year will also see a rebrand for Frogspark; Introducing a new website and a set of core values and an Ethos of being committed to providing an unrivalled customer experience that will align with plans for growth and the introduction of a new Branding service.

Operations Manager Scott Clarke outlined the importance of focussing on ‘Customer Experience’ when is comes to working in a Business to Business Industry “Digital or Creative services are not renowned for their customer service; but we believe that developing a culture within our business that puts more emphasis on the experience the client has by working with us, creating a more collaborative process that the client can engage in, will ultimately result in a better experience for everyone. We have had some fantastic feedback and the resulting projects are some of the best we have produced. People want to know that they are being heard and we understand this; the client could be setting up there own business for the first time and the investment they are making with us is everything they have; we must be humble with this and ensure that we take them on every step of the journey with us.”
Rob Twells hopes that the announcement of new values and service will “Help us reach the target markets and businesses we have identified and help drive us to the level we know we can this coming year.
Myself & Liam started this business at a very young age and we had a clear vision of what we wanted to be. Over the years that vision has changed and we’re now clearer than ever on what we want to achieve.”
