Future Proof Films are a creative team of video marketing and product professionals that do more than just videography. They offer a full suite of video content ranging from live action videos to animated videos, video strategy and photography. We’d like to consider Future Proof one of our close friends in the business world; we love their work so much we even got them to do the video and photography across our site. So, we couldn’t be happier that they approached us to build a fresh new site that truly showed off their expertise in the videography world.
We were faced with the challenge of designing and developing a website that showed off the true essence of Future Proof, the creative work they produce and their full-service offering as video professionals. One of the difficulties we faced in the project was finding the right balance between keeping the site looking clean and slick, whilst also showing all the amazing creations they have, in the best way for website visitors. It was important the site showed off Future Proof’s work in the most engaging way possible to show to prospective customers what could be achieved for them.
A part of the site we are particularly fond of is the ‘Creations’ page, unlike a standard case study, there is a preview of the video when you hover over the project, so prospective leads can really see what Future Proof offers. The animations used on each team member’s profile is something we really like to (see it here).
Rather than using a simple contact form, we designed a more personal journey for leads to get in touch. The ‘Start Project’ section allows prospective customers to choose the services they are interested in, say what it is they want to achieve, their budget available and their timescale. Not only is this great for users, but allows Future Proof to get all the little details that are helpful when it comes to new leads.
With each and every one of our web projects, the design is key, and this was no different with Future Proof’s site. We wanted to create a clean and minimal design that allowed Future Proof’s creations to really shine through to their website users. Throughout the site, we included a range of hover effects and animations to add to their ‘cool’ and ‘innovative’ vibe they carry as a company. We think the design really reflect future proof as a brand, and the high-level quality of service others can expect to receive off them.
After our design and development efforts, we couldn’t be happier with the results. We created a site that not only looks great but functions perfectly across both desktop and mobile devices. Future Proof has now got the perfect online shop window they need to generate more leads and support their growth going forward.
